'Hidden' Nottingham architecture and history

See the hometown of Robin Hood like you’ve never seen it before! Homicidal medieval Kings, the very first Vampyre, 1200-year old Saxon caves, modern
Olympians, evil murderers - and of course the outlaw Robin Hood. From Lady Chatterley’s Lover to Lace and Legends, the history of Nottingham told through its colourful characters.

The product of over 20 years experience, the Nottingham Heroes & Villains Tour brings the City’s heritage to life in a unique way! Our tours cover the Nottingham Castle area, Brewhouse Yard and the Trip to Jerusalem, the medieval street plan, the old Market Square, the Lace Market, St Mary’s, the old Shire Hall and more! Robin Hood is associated with many locations in the City and his tales are woven around those of our other ‘Heroes and Villains’.

Our costumed Guides lead the tours with the flair and style we have made our own on the Nottingham Ghost Walk. The Nottingham Heroes & Villains Tour takes around 2 hours and we (gently) walk about 2 miles (see our website for disabled access). Group tours are available all year.

To get an idea of the more unusual fascinating facts we cover on our Tour, take a look at the Quiz on our website!

Testimonials:

"Brilliant, many thanks. A very enjoyable two hours. It was excellent, I will recommend it to anyone that will listen. And i'll do it again myself. Many thanks."
