Pretty Dandy Flea

THE PRETTY DANDY FLEA – SAT 23 FEB, 10.30am – 6pm
Mezz Bar, Broadway Cinema, Broad Street
Creative Quarter Building, Stoney Street

The Pretty Dandy Flea is a new fabulous flea market which launched on 29th September in Nottingham showcasing an eclectic mix of homewares and interiors products, inspired by the Brooklyn Flea, NYC.

The Flea was hugely popular with over 500 people visiting and enjoying the unique atmosphere created, with live DJs, a pop-up cafe and a vibrant mix of vintage, art, curios and handmade items on offer.

Pretty Dandy MD, Becky Morris Knight explains:
"We were thrilled that so many people liked our Flea concept and came along to the event, then we were asked so many times whether we would repeat it that it seemed silly not to! The positive comments on the day showed that people have a real appetite for a fun, curious Flea such as this, and that it appeals to a broad range of people, from students to young families to older collectors."

The third Pretty Dandy Flea will pop up in Nottingham on the 23rd February, with the same emphasis on sharing a wonderful range of vintage homewares and interiors products from individual designer makers and antiques-hoarders.

The event will take place in Hockley in Nottingham and spread over the Mezz Bar at Broadway Cinema on Broad Street and the Creative Quarter building on Stoney Street.

Alongside the Flea traders there will be DJs from Nottingham record label Hello Thor providing a vintage soundtrack, a crafty activity stall run by local artists on behalf of the Stroke Association and homemade cakes and treats from The Pop Up Sandwich Kitchen.

Becky continued:
"The Pretty Dandy Flea will be a chance to discover something truly unique for your home. We have traders selling everything from classic mid-century crockery to cushions inspired by vintage circus illustrations and lights and clocks salvaged from 70's cruise liners in Bangladesh. it's a truly eclectic event and will be a great place to pick up the perfect gift for someone or to treat yourself!"
