This year the Patchings Festival reaches its 21st birthday and it is fitting that we able to let you know that the event continues to grow and develop. There are over 200 extremely talented and skilled artists and makers showing their work, most demonstrating some part of their creative process. Nearly one third are exhibiting for for the first time at the Festival, altogether making this a very special opportunity to buy and commission individually designed and crafted work.
The extensive art materials marquee contains those who manufacture and represent all the leading brands, household names in art. Demonstrations, guest artists, workshops and test and try areas make the Festival the leading and largest practical art event in the country.
Following a trial last year, we are delighted to announce that we are including photography as another major part of this year's event, with presentations, workshops, exhibitors and trade stands.
Celebrity and Guest Artists for this year include:-
Hazel Soan, Shirley Trevena, Jean Haines, Linda Wain, Haidee-Jo Summers, Ken Howard, David Curtis, David Bellamy, Peter Welton, Charles Evans.
