Newstead Abbey, the former home of Lord Byron, will once again host a programme of live theate in its picturesque grounds. Grab a blanket, pack a picnic and enjoy a variey of performances.

This year's programme includes:

Friday 21 July (7pm) - A Midsummer Night's Dream performed by the Chapterhouse Theatre Company

Monday 30 July (6pm) - Peter Pan performed by the Chapterhouse Theatre Company

Sunday 6 August (7pm) - Pride & Prejudice performed by Illyria

Friday 11 August (7pm) - The Mikado performed by Illyria

Friday 18 August (7pm) - Northanger Abbey performed by Heartbreak Productions

Sunday 20 August (6pm) - The Emperor's New Clothes performed by Illyria
