Visit the ice rink surrounded by Christmas lights and trees, visit the cabins selling seasonal food, drink and crafts. Have a festive drink at the winter bar while enjoying live music from the bandstand. The festive fun will be complemented by a bigger, better market in the square and along Smithy Row, selling a variety of gifts, decorations and culinary delights.

Get your skates on - The ice rink returns, and it's bigger than ever, with loads of fun events on the ice too! Book the date you want online at to beat the crowds and avoid disappointment.

The Christmas Craft and Gift Market

This year's range is even bigger and better than ever before! Visit our largest ever craft and gift market on Long Row, Smithy Row and along the Ice Rink broad walk. With a wide range of unique handmade gifts - there is plenty of choice to find that perfect present.

Please note that the Craft & Gift Market will only be present until Christmas Eve.

Winter Bar

The Bar has great views of the ice rink, as well as the bandstand where fantastic seasonal music will be performed. There's a great range of ales and wines on offer to be enjoyed in the warm and cosy covered seating area. This year, Wetherspoons will also be serving real ale and soups from an area adjacent to the Winter Bar too!

The Helter Skelter Bar

On Long Row, the world's only helter skelter bar will sell mulled wine, spiced cider and other hot toddies to keep you warm as you take a break from your Christmas shopping.

The Grand Christmas Tree

The traditional Grand Christmas tree will be the fantastic centrepiece of the ice rink - Christmas in Nottingham just wouldn't be complete without it!

Plus children's rides including Santa's Toy ride, a Helter Skelter and traditional carousel to keep little ones happy.

Opening Times:

Christmas Market: 10am until 6pm (8pm late night shopping)
Ice Rink: 11am until 10pm (last session start 9pm)
Winter Bars and Food Hall: 10am until late
