Nottingham Riverside Festival 2017

Friday 4 - Sunday 6 August 2017

Nottingham's biggest and most popular free festival weekend!

The Riverside Festival is Nottingham's biggest free festival weekend offering three days of family entertainment. It is a unique and fun festival covering one mile along the banks of the River Trent, at Victoria Embankment, adjacent to Trent Bridge.

Three days of live music, great food and things to see, plus loads for kids in the Children's Zone.

The spectacular fireworks display on Saturday night is a must see!

There is a host of activities for festival goers to enjoy from a bustling street fair with rides and games to a vibrant mix of live music performances from around the globe.

Street Theatre performers will bring Nottingham's largest outdoor festival to life, with comedy and animation performances to enjoy and amaze.

Young and old can also step back in time with the traditional Steam Engines and Organs that will be on display. Wander the street market where there is a world of global crafts and food stalls to explore ensuring there is something to suit all tastes.

The Dragon Boat Challenge Nottingham also makes a welcome return with teams battling it out for charity followed by the annual Duck Race.

And of course who can forget the highlight of the weekend - the jaw - dropping firework display that kicks off at 10.30pm on Saturday night!

Nottingham City Transport will also be providing special shuttle buses which will return to the city centre straight after the fireworks.

Admission to the festival is free. Car parking charges apply.
