Tel: +44(0)115 8761400
Tuesday 31 December 2013 From 9pm - 12.30am
Nottingham City Council is proud to announce a new event in the grounds of Nottingham Castle this New Year’s Eve, Tuesday 31 December 2013.
The Castle grounds will play host to live music and entertainment from 9pm onwards. There will be a bar and hot drinks and food stalls serving inside the grounds. A spectacular fireworks display from the Castle Green at midnight will be the perfect finale to see in the New Year.
Best of all, entry to this event is FREE! The event has limited capacity: turn up at the Castle gates on the night - first come first served.
Those unable to attend this event will still be able to enjoy the fireworks display which will be visible across the city.
The Castle grounds will close at 12.30am.
Cllr David Trimble, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture at Nottingham City Council, said: “This new event will be a truly memorable way for families and friends in Nottingham to celebrate the last night of 2013 and welcome in 2014. We would like to thank the sponsor, Purico Group, for making this event possible.”
