Being our final triathlon of the season, 'Last Minute' is the perfect name. We have found over the years, this event attracts many of those competitors that have raced the same course earlier in the season at the Southwell Sprint Triathlon, returning to see how much they have improved during the season.

The other thing that we have noticed is this event also attracts a lot of first timers. We believe that people have been bombarded seeing triathlons on TV, at the local leisure centre, heard other triathletes bragging about this or that so have decided to have a go before hibernating over the winter.

And why not, this is a great event for all and sundry, seasoned triathletes or complete nervous novices. We use the identical course that we use for the Southwell Sprint Triathlon, the only difference is this event is much more relaxed. We like to think of it more like an end of season social gathering than a race. This year we have 400M swim following by 17.6K bike and then 5K run!

However don't get the wrong idea; this event will be up to the same high standard as all of our others throughout the season, with chip timing, first class medical cover and secure transition, all at a beautiful venue.

This event filled 1 month before the closing date in previous years and two months before in 2011, so don't leave it too late - enter today!!!
