Heritage Open Days 2017

7th - 10th September 2017
Various venues in Nottinghamshire

Heritage Open Days is England's largest festival of history and culture, bringing together over 2,500 organisations, 5,000 events and 40,000 volunteers. Every year for four days in September, places across the country throw open their doors to celebrate their heritage, community and history.

It is a once-a-year chance to discover hidden treasures and enjoy a wide range of tours, events and activities which bring to life local history and culture – and it’s all FREE.

With free access to properties that are usually closed to the public or normally charge for admission, there are various events taking place across Nottinghamshire as well as a programme of events taking place within Attenborough, Beeston, Bramcote, Chilwell, Stapleford, Toton, Bilborough, Strelley, Wollaton and the University of Nottingham will be available soon.

For further details about venues taking part else where in Nottinghamshire as well as nationally please see www.heritageopendays.org.uk
