Half Term at The Harley Gallery

Monday 13 - Saturday 18 February 2017

Visit The Harley Gallery for some fantastic Lego-themed activities this half term:

Monday 13 February - Titanic and the Yacht - Interactive Storytelling

Join us in the gallery for an interactive story telling activity with Nottingham based writer Lisa Shipman.

Help! The Titanic is lost!  When the Titanic Wonder loses its way, it’s up to the canny crew to help get it to safety. But navigating the ‘seas’ of The Harley Gallery is no easy task.  The answer may lie in The Portland Collection gallery, where a helpful yacht model just might save the day. Can the crew work together to build a story that helps the Titanic find its way home?

Take a journey and discover more about our exhibitions. Using your imaginations you will create a collective interactive story.

Adults must stay with their children at all times.

Price - £2.50 per child, suitable for all ages. Children 4 and under go free.

Tuesday 14 February - Make a Lego Head jar

LEGO® enthusiast Carl Gibson will work with you to make and create your own LEGO® Head Jar.

For prized pencils or treasured possessions this LEGO® Head Jar is a perfect gift for a loved one.

Sessions last for 30 minutes and adults must stay with their child at all times.

Price - £2.50 per child, suitable for all ages. Adults must stay with their children at all times.

Suitable for all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Price - £5 per session.

All pottery items are individually priced and are not included in the ticket price.

Friday 17 February - Noah's Animals - Interactive Storytelling

Join us in the gallery for an interactive story telling activity with Nottingham based writer Lisa Shipman.

Noah’s ark about to set sail, and the animals at Brick Wonder Zoo have no partners to pair up with!  A special ‘portrait safari’ exists in The Portland Collection gallery, where animals roam amongst the paintings, each searching for a special friend. Can the zany zookeepers help the Brick Wonder animals cross the landscape of The Harley Gallery, before Noah’s ark leaves without them?

Price - £2.50 per child, suitable for all ages. Adults must stay with their children at all times.

Children 4 and under go free.

Saturday 18 February - Beat The Architect - Lego Brick Building Time Trials
