Ghost Tours at Bolsover Castle

Ghost Tours
Bolsover Castle

7th Oct / 3rd Nov / 18th Nov

Tours at 6pm, 8pm & 10.30pm

Take an eerie evening tour around Bolsover Castle and hear tales of dark deeds, ghostly apparitions and scary happenings. (Over 16s only). What’s the story behind the bullet mark in the Riding School door? Why shouldn’t you walk down the Terrace in a group? Who’s the woman still haunting the
Little Castle today? Scare yourself silly as the storytelling guide walks you round this spine-chilling site!

Perched on a ridge high above the Vale of Scarsdale, on the site of a medieval fortress, Bolsover Castle is an extraordinary 17th-century aristocratic retreat. The exquisite ‘Little Castle’ has remarkable wall-paintings and interiors, and the Riding House is the earliest such building in England to survive complete.
