Visiting with children? Then book on to one of our family friendly tours of the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum. Guides will take you around this Victorian Miner's cottage where you can find out how D.H. Lawrence's family would have lived over 100 years ago!
Tours will change throughout the year with activities including mystery pictures, a treasure hunt or spotting the object out of time. After your tour you can play with Traditional toys including jacks, spinning tops and ball and cup. In warmer days during the summer there will also be games to play outside in the museum garden. Every child visiting will get a sticker of 'Bert' Lawrence to remind them of their visit. Places limited, pre-booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.
