The Lace Market
Tel: +44(0)843 373 3000
Enjoy a festive skate and experience the magic of Christmas at the National Ice Centre this year, whatever the weather.
Nottingham sportsman and professional boxer Carl Froch went along to the National Ice Centre’s very first Christmas session on 30th November to support the venue where he used to skate as a boy.
The National Ice Centre’s Christmas experience will run from 30 November 2013 to 5 January 2014 and will feature a giant Christmas tree. Plus, with a large Olympic sized ice rink, there’s plenty of room to skate with friends, family and colleagues. Prices start from £6.50 for adults and family passes are available from £25 for a family of four, including skate hire.
Festive food and drinks will be available so you can enjoy some seasonal treats in the T&D café before, during or after you skate.
Exciting skating events taking place throughout the festive period include:
· Parent & Toddler Christmas Parties on Wednesday 18 and Tuesday 31 December
· The 2013 gala spectacular, Dance To The Music Of Time on Thursday 19 December
· Christmas Foam Party on Friday 20 December
For further information head to www.national-ice-centre.com, call 0843 373 3000 or visit in person at National Ice Centre, Bolero Square, The Lace Market, Nottingham.
Please note there will be a £2 spectator fee for people to watch their friends/family skate from the side of the rink over Christmas. This will be payable on the day.
