Part of London 2012 Cultural Olympiad
Our concert takes us on a journey through past Olympic cities and features famous themes such as Barcelona and Chariots of Fire.
Hosted by Des Coleman, Nottingham Youth and Jazz Orchestras present an evening in which musical and visual reflections on past Olympic cities combine with the aspirations of Nottinghamshire’s Olympic hopefuls.
Supported by Sports Nottinghamshire, the evening celebrates the best of Olympic sport with a programme including London Fanfare (new composition), Finlandia, Medley from Cabaret, Zorba the Greek, Nessun Dorma and Danzon No 2.
