World class sport to see and enjoy all year round

Nottinghamshire is the perfect place to enjoy sport and get active, boasting world-class facilities and great sporting pedigree.  Did you know that Nottingham is the home to the oldest existing league football club in the world?  This being Notts County Football Club.  Nearby you’ll find the world famous Trent Bridge, which has seen Test Cricket being playing for over a century.

The National Ice Centre is home of the Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team and the GB Short Track Speed Skating squad.  Public skating sessions take place daily and families are welcome.  The Nottingham Tennis Centre also has excellent facilities and has played host to many international tournaments.
