You can explore the County on foot, cycle or horseback with self guided route packs. Places to visit include Sherwood Forest, the historic towns of Newark and Southwell, as well as many other towns and villages to explore. Many of these places are full of local history and Nottinghamshire’s most famous sights – you’ll certainly not be short of things to do.
For the even more adventurous among you, visit the National Watersports Centre. Here you can canoe, row, sail, water ski and even risk white water rafting. Alternatively, for a more leisurely day, take a waterside stroll, go fishing, play golf or hire a bicycle.
