Sundown Adventureland

Situated near to Retford you’ll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained at Sundown Adventureland.  You’ll never know when you're going to get wet on the Boozy Barrel boat ride, and don't forget your bucket and spade for Captain Sandy’s Play CoveJourney back in time on the Robin Hood ride, meet the outlaws, travel through their hideout, but watch out for the evil Sheriff.  All aboard the Rocky Mountain Railroad, but hold on to your hats! Those pesky bandits are popping up everywhere.  Don't forget to explore the Rodeo Corral indoor play area, Shot Gun City, Fort Apache, and much, much more!

Wheelgate Adventure Park

Visit the Gruff Goat Farm an interactive animal zone where families can enjoy touchy feely, cute and cuddly moments with a variety of animals from Alpacas to rats and their offspring. Wheelgate offers a variety of interactive animal antics that the whole family can join in, with hands-on activities including newborn chicks, lambs feeding, bunnies, guinea pigs, kids (as in baby goats!) and pigletsDon’t miss the fantastic Tropical House with daily interactive talks, your opportunity to have a hands-on experience with weird reptiles, tarantulas, enormous snakes and giant butterflies!  Or you may prefer the ‘Flight of The Raptors’ -  fascinating falconry shows for all ages. Twinlakes Theme Park

Twinlakes Theme Park offers the very best in family entertainment jam-packed with a breath-taking variety of family rides and attractions, set in 70 acres of glorious countryside, where you’ll find unlimited action and play zones, a massive 125,000sqft indoor play area plus rides and attractions galore.

Sherwood Forest Fun Park

A family run business which dates back five generations of the Turvill family.  The park caters for families and children.  You’ll find that the friendly and helpful staff will aim to provide you with an inexpensive fun day out in one of the most beautiful locations - Sherwood Forest.  Situated at the entrance to Sherwood Country Park, and within ten minutes walk of the famous Major Oak, (the reputed hiding place of Robin Hood and his Merry Men) and only a five minute walk from the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre where the famous annual Robin Hood Festival is held.  Rides include the Caterpillar Coaster, Terror Castle and Jumping Jack.
