Within Nottinghamshire there really is plenty of things to do, all day and everyday of the year to suit all tastes, ages and budgets.  From heading out into the great outdoors to discovering our fascinating network of caves to taking-in some of the counties history and culture.

It’s here that you can start to plan those fun packed family days out and other activities as well as planning yourself a fabulous weekend break.

If that's not enough you can always treat yourself to a lavish shopping trip and indulge yourself by relaxing in one of our many cafes and restaurants.

We have a designated page for the forthcoming February half term holidays, to help you plan days out or a winter break with the family.

Nottinghamshire is easily accessible from most parts of the country.  The M1 passes just six miles from the city centre and heads north along the west of the county.  Nottinghamshire also has excellent links with the A1, A52, A60 and A46 - check out our'transport' section for further details.
