Holme Grange Cottage

Built in 1892 as part of the Earl Manvers Holme Pierrepont Estate, this pair of former farm workers’ cottages were lovingly restored and converted to a single dwelling by the present owners in 1984.

This cosy house offers guests a choice of bedrooms flooded with natural daylight and shared use of a guest lounge with a tv, electronic piano/organ, adult and childrens games plus a selection of books which can all be enjoyed during your stay.

The cottage is located in a peaceful setting, standing in an acre of garden with a beautiful view across the garden and lake at the rear of the property. There’s also a hard tennis court for guests’ use (equipment can be hired) and the front of the house is directly opposite the main entrance to Home Pierrepoint Country Park and National Water Sports Centre. We are only 1 mile from the centre of West Bridgford with its vibrant selection of coffee shops, restaurants and bars and the same distance away from Trent Bridge cricket ground, Nottingham Forest’s The City Ground and Meadow Lane, home of Notts County. Nottingham city centre is 3 miles away and its shops, bars, restaurants and cultural and tourist attractions are easily accessed by public transport.

When not providing warm hospitality and freshly cooked breakfasts, the proprietor is often on the golf course so why not pick her brains as she can advise you on the best places locally to play
