Browns exterior

Cross over the ford in the driveway and stay somewhere secluded.

The Award Winning Browns, established in 1990, is in the heart of The Dukeries and Sherwood Forest, one mile from Creswell Crags, seven from Robin Hood’s Tree, with easy access to The M1 and The A1.

One of nine finalists in Excellence in England Bed and Breakfast of the year 2004.
The Old Orchard Cottage is a 1730 stone country cottage, with an acre garden, with off road parking, situated in a peaceful rural hamlet on The Welbeck Country Estate.

Browns offers maximum privacy with three separate en-suite Garden Rooms surrounding a terrace in the garden. Each Garden Room has a four-poster bed, Egyptian cotton bed linen, and are individually styled to create a relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are very reasonably priced from just £77 per night including breakfast.

Breakfast is served in the dining room of the cottage, overlooking the garden. Locally sourced produce is used in a wide choice of menu. Arrive to a warm welcome and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

Browns was recently awarded the Best Accommodation Provider and Joan Brown received the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry in the 2012 Nottinghamshire Stars Awards.
