Visit the woodland home of our famous outlaw at Sherwood Forest Country Park. An impressive reserve of ancient oak and birch trees. You can trace the legend from the 800 year old Major Oak, the rumoured meeting place of the Merry Men, all the way to Robin Hood’s cave at Creswell Crags.

Stretch your legs on a walk through Sherwood Forest or across many of the rolling fields in beautiful areas such as the Vale of Belvoir.
If you like messing about on the water then there's plenty of opportunity not just via the river Trent but also on the canal.
