Thea Caffea

Opened in 2012, Thea Caffea is a family owned and run quintessentially English tea room which has become a firm favourite with visitors to Nottingham city centre.

Nestled behind the shop frontages on Low Pavement, Thea Caffea  tea room is a hidden secret, benefiting from its private and secluded location which seems a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

Caffea's warm welcome, full waitress service and  the soothing melodies from resident pianist  enhances the tea culture experience, recalling the pleasures of a bygone era in the elegant surroundings of Thea Caffea, an oasis of relaxation in the heart of Nottingham city centre.

As well as coffees, soft drinks,  wines and champagne, Thea Caffea offers an extensive selection of the finest loose leaf tea  served in vintage china alongside a delicious food menu synonymous with a traditional English tea room, including our homemade scones, cakes, cream and afternoon teas.

The morning bakery, brunch, light lunch, afternoon and children's menu is carefully prepared in the onsite kitchen using the finest ingredients from local and regional producers and suppliers, with gluten free options available throughout the menu.

New Sunday Brunch Menu

Thea Caffea will be offering some new additions to their brunch menu on a Sunday. They will not only be serving a breakfast platter, but also some lighter, more summery options!

In addition to this, their opening hours will be extended! Opening from 11am until 5pm, last orders 4.30pm.

The tea room is wheelchair and push chair accessible.

For reservations telephone 0115 9412110.
