Fox and Crown

WELCOMING REAL ALE PUB IN THE HISTORIC CENTRE OF NEWARK

The Fox and Crown, which stands on the site on which were two shops, is the Castle Rock resurrection of the previously closed down Fox & Crown. This re-opening marked the return of Tynemill to Newark, where the company was born 36 years ago. The pub has been open now for 16 years, offering excellent service in a friendly and comfortable environment.

We offer five lagers, a delicious craft beer on tap, and a selection of bottled world beers, as well as traditional cider and Guinness. We also serve hot beverages with our coffee being sourced from GH Porters. We pride ourselves on buying our produce locally and all meat, fish and vegetables are sourced from the local town. This locally sourced produce forms a diverse menu which caters to many tastes.

Newark on Trent has a very good market on Wednesday and Saturday and we are open from 10.30am everyday to accommodate visitors and locals alike. If you are visiting the Palace Theatre, we are a 2 minute walk from the theatre and is handy for pre food and drinks, interval drinks and after-drinks.

All of us at the Fox look forward to welcoming you to our great pub.

BEERS

Up to ten cask ales including Castle Rock and rotating guests, as well as four lagers.
