The Palace Theatre Newark

The Palace Theatre Newark brings the best in live entertainment to Newark all year round. With a capacity of just over 620 and an average of over 150 performances each year, the Palace caters for all tastes within this thriving town.

2016 has seen the unveiling of a newly refurbished front of house area, with the Box Office being combined with Newark’s Visitor Information Centre alongside being the entrance point for the National Civil War Centre. This refurbishment has continued through into the foyer and into the bar area, which now hosts the Palace’s all day café-bar offer, Nineteen20, which serves light lunches, cakes and hot and cold drinks.

A new Membership scheme also offers added value for regular theatregoers with Membership starting from £7.50 per person and offering ticket discounts, priority booking and a wide range of other benefits.

The Palace has complete disabled access to the Box Office, foyer, Nineteen20, disabled toilet (situated between the café and the auditorium) and the four wheelchair spaces in the stalls, which each have a companion seat. There is additionally a lift that allows access to the Byron Room and first floor – please note this does not allow for complete access to the circle and there are no toilet facilities on this level. Additionally, the auditorium is fitted with an infra-red induction loop and seeing and hearing guide dogs are very welcome, with water available on request.
