As East Midlands Visitor Attraction of the Year 2005 the White Post Farm Centre can provide a unique day out with lots of opportunities to get up close to the animals!

There are over 25 acres with more than 3,000 animals including cows, pigs, sheep and hens but we can also offer you more unusual animals such as llamas, chinchillas, bats, reptiles and spiders.

There are plenty of opportunities to get ?hands on ? you can enjoy baby animal holding with mice, guinea pigs, chicks and ducklings. You can bottle-feed the goat kids and meet a reptile such as Annie the tarantula or Bob the leopard gecko.

You can let off steam in our outdoor play area with 2 forts, large trampolines and our go-kart track with pedal go-karts. We have an indoor play area including our Indoor Sledge Run ? 60ft long, 30ft wide and 12 ft high!

In January we are installing a ?New Indoor Soft Play Activity Centre ? 3 floors of interactive farm themed soft play fun! Including twin lane bumpy slides, ball pools, balance beam, bash bags, zigzag prisms hanging snakes and much more. Plus an area for non-walking totsg

White Post Farm is an ideal place to visit even on wet and windy days as over half of the farm is under cover. We have a very warm Reptile House and a Beach Barn full of sand with an aerial walkway and tube slide. We have mice, rats, guinea pigs and Bandit the raccoon in the Rodent Room and a nocturnal bat and chinchilla room. Larger animals such as cows, goats and pigs can be found in the Silver Barn where you can also Groom a Goat. In our Incubator Room you can always see newly hatched chicks and ducklings that are just a few days old.

Take our field walk to see deer, llamas, donkeys, ducks (including rare breeds) lambs, ponies and even Jasper and Jade the farm wallabies!

We offer Farm Helper Days from £50 where you can turn your dream of working with animals into a reality and we have special events for summer, Halloween and Christmas. We can also give your child a birthday party to remember.

You can buy everything you need for your small animal at our Pet Shop and we have a Pet Hotel where you can be sure that when you go on holiday your pet is well cared for by our experienced staff.

Telephone 01623 882977 or see our web site at www.whitepostfarmcentre.co.uk for more details. The White Post Farm Centre is open daily from 10am.
