Situated in the heart of Nottingham city centre, overlooking the historic and ber fashionable Lace Market, Nottingham Arena has hosted the cream of live music, ice shows and sporting events since its doors first opened to a capacity audience in April 2000. Since this time, Nottingham Arena has gone from strength to strength, building a reputation as a venue that really rocks.

With a seated capacity of 9,300 and a standing capacity of 10,000 there is nowhere quite like Nottingham Arena. Dont just take our word for it. Ask Sir Elton John. Or Rod Stewart. Or Radiohead. How about Oasis, Coldplay, Westlife, Duran Duran or Eddie Izzard? All these acts sold out at Nottingham Arena in the last 18 months. And its not just the mainstream names either; bands like Blink 182, The White Stripes, Muse and Sum 41, to name but a few, have all played to capacity crowds.

With enviable transport links, divine hotels, restaurants, bars, great shopping and a reputed ratio of three women to every man; Nottingham is the perfect city for the UKs newest concert venue.

The Arena itself is situated within the state of the art, 43m National Ice Centre, the UKs first twin ice pad facility and the centre of excellence for all ice sports in the UK. The NIC comprises of two Olympic size ice rinks, (one of which transforms into Nottingham Arena), a shop, gym, dance studio, sauna, solarium and conference rooms. It is used as a training base by the majority of Great Britains bright young skaters, is home to the GB Speed Skating Squad and the oldest ice hockey team in the country, the Nottingham Panthers; all this, in addition to the worlds finest entertainment.
