Late Night Shopping
As the Christmas lights are turned on for another year, crowds of shoppers flock to Nottinghamshire to take advantage of late night shopping. Spend a leisurely evening browsing the county's many independent shops and well-known retailers before stopping off for a festive drink or a bite to eat. There are also plenty of festive markets if you want to buy your loved one something they won't see on the high street.
Wednesday is traditionally the time for late night shopping in Nottingham and some traders will now be flexible with their hours over this busy period.
The city's intu Victoria shopping centre will be open until 8pm most nights from 5th December till 17th December and after that it will be open until at least 9pm every weekday until 23rd December. On Christmas Eve Victoria Centre will be open from 8am till 5pm. Intu Broadmarsh will be open until 7pm every Monday to Saturday from 12th December till 23rd December, and until 8pm on Wednesdays during the festive period. On Christmas Eve Broadmarsh will be open from 9am till 4:30pm. Further details on shopping centre opening times will be available soon.
Nottingham's Winter Wonderland will also host a festive market, which is perfect if you are looking for handmade crafts and other treats. The market is open from 10am until 6pm (8pm for late night shopping). The Nottingham Tourism Centre, which is at the heart of the market on Smithy Row, will also be open on 4th, 11th and 18th December between 11am-5pm. Here you will find an array of goodies including locally-produced preserves and coffee, the famous Nottingham lace and of course Robin Hood outfits for the little ones.
