Late Night Shopping

As the Christmas lights are turned on for another year, crowds of shoppers flock to Nottinghamshire to take advantage of late night shopping. Spend a leisurely evening browsing the county's many independent shops and well-known retailers before stopping off for a festive drink or a bite to eat. There are also plenty of festive markets if you want to buy your loved one something they won't see on the high street.

Nottingham Shopping

Wednesday is traditionally the time for late night shopping in Nottingham and some traders will now be flexible with their hours over this busy period.

There’s plenty of time for Christmas shopping! On Black Friday intu Victoria Centre will be open from 8am -9pm and then from Monday 4 December to Saturday 23 December intu Victoria Centre will be open until 8pm Monday to Saturday with Clocktower dining restaurants open later.  If you’re shopping in the sales you can check opening hours for intu Victoria Centre over Christmas and New Year here. Remember, some individual store opening times will vary so it’s always useful to check with the store if you’re wanting to visit a specific shop.

intu Broadmarsh will be open from 9am – 7pm on Black Friday, open until 7pm every Wednesday from 4 December and then open until 7pm every evening from 18 – 23 December.  Some individual store hours may vary, it’s always a good idea to check with a store if you’re wanting to visit a specific shop.  Santa’s Grotto at intu Broadmarsh will open from Friday 24 November and will be open from 11am every day until Christmas eve. You can check opening times over Christmas and New Year here.

Nottingham's Winter Wonderland will also host a festive market, which is perfect if you are looking for handmade crafts and other treats. The market is open from 10am until 6pm (8pm for late night shopping).

The Nottingham Tourism Centre, which is at the heart of the market on Smithy Row, will also be open on Sundays 3rd, 10th and 17th December between 11am-5pm. Here you will find an array of goodies including locally-produced preserves and breakfast cereals, the famous Nottingham lace and of course Robin Hood outfits for the little ones.
