Beer and Real Ale Trails
Visit Nottinghamshire and you will discover a vibrant pub scene which showcases the many artisan and speciality beers being produced in the region today.
The compact city, which boasts creative, historical and water-side areas, is the ideal place to meander from pub to pub. Dotted around the county are picturesque market towns which are home to a wealth of watering holes, from The Organ Grinder in Newark to Mansfield's Forest Lodge Pub.
Many of Nottingham's pubs are housed in stunning buildings with a rich heritage. Working in conjunction with RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) and Castle Rock Brewery we have produced a walking trail which provides a snap shot of our architecturally significant buildings. Follow the route and you will uncover a Victorian music hall at Malt Cross and caves at Hand and Heart. Call into our Tourism Centre on Smithy Row and pick up a FREE paper copy or download the PDF version on the right.
